Before founding Neucore.ai, Chen led the Transport Analytics team at CSIRO's Data61, scaling the group and delivering data-driven solutions that helped governments and enterprises transform complex transport data into actionable planning insights.
At Ernst & Young, he established the firm's first AI and digital twin capabilities across the Oceania region — including an AI system for automated business document generation and a real-time digital model for freight operations management.
Beyond his academic commitments, Chen is an active developer of experimental quantitative trading platforms and an experienced No-Limit Texas Hold'em player. He draws a direct parallel between the two: a good trader, like a good poker player, wins not by having the best cards, but by reading the other players.
